Specifically designed to meet the needs of digital photographers, the Digital ColorChecker® SG target includes the highest quality color reference standards available. Each of the 140 patches was chosen for its location in color space to expand the color gamut, so you can create profiles that capture the full capabilities of your digital camera and scanner

ColorChecker Digital SG provides the same great value as the ColorChecker Classic to compare digital reproductions to real life scenes or test targets. The ColorChecker Digital SG takes a step beyond the traditional ColorChecker by representing a larger gamut and providing greater refinement of individual colors

The DCSG chart is sold separately, or bundled with either a single or package of four remote validation reports. After purchasing your Chart and calibrating your camera or scanner, contact us and we will set up a private dropbox for you to upload your chart image. This image will be analyzed and your results will be delivered to you via the dropbox. This service is especially useful for cultural heritage sites that wish to know if their images satisfy the current Metamorfoze or FADGI digitization guidelines

  • The spectrally neutral charachteristics of the Munsell chart materials also minimize metameric effects that plague charts based upon ink jet or photographic methods
  • It is important to note that this color chart will fade over time and should be replaced at least every two years and under steady use it is advisable to replace this target annually as repeated exposure to high lux photographic illumination can fade the very precise colorants
